H0593: Automatic Sealing of Criminal History Records and Making Confidential Related Court Records

Legislative Summary

Requires that all counts of an indictment, information, or charging document be dismissed or nolle prosequi or that verdict of not guilty or judgment of acquittal be entered on all counts to be eligible for automatic sealing; requires clerk of court to automatically keep confidential & exempt court records related to certain criminal history records that meet specified criteria.
