Legislative Summary
Provides leglislative intent; prohibits applicant or licensee from certain actions in allocation or distribution of motor vehicles to franchised motor vehicle dealers; authorizes sale or activation of features or improvements through remote electronic transmission; provides revenue-sharing requirements; revises provisions prohibiting owning, operating, or controlling motor vehicle dealership; requires DHSMV to conduct inquiry of licensee alleged to have violated certain provisions; requires DHSMV to take certain actions against licensee determined to have violated such provisions.
