A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to education, so as to repeal Chapter 18, relating to the Center for Rural Prosperity and Innovation; to amend Title 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to agriculture, so as to transfer the Center for Rural Prosperity and Innovation to the Department of Agriculture; to provide for a director; to provide for assumption of business and responsibilities of the Centers of Innovation Agribusiness and collaboration with other entities; to provide for the Georgia Rural Development Council; to provide for duties and satellite offices; to provide for funds; to provide for reporting and approval of strategic plans; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
