A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 8-2-4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to certain residential fire sprinkler requirements prohibited, so as to provide that although neither the state residential and fire building code nor any residential fire and building code shall include a requirement that fire sprinklers be installed in single-family or residential buildings, local fire ordinances may require fire sprinklers in one- and two-family dwellings; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
