Legislative Summary
Creates the Warehouse Safety Standards Task Force Act to study warehouse safety standards. Provides for membership of the Task Force. Provides that the members of the Task Force shall serve without compensation. Provides that the Department of Labor shall provide administrative support to the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force must provide quarterly updates of its findings, discussions, and decisions to the Governor and the General Assembly and shall submit a final report of its recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly no later than January 1, 2025. Dissolves the Task Force and repeals the Act on January 1, 2026. Effective immediately.
