HB3523: IEMA-CYBER ATTACK
Legislative Summary
Amends the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act. Provides that "disaster" includes cyber incidents. Defines "cyber incident". Requires the Governor to, to the greatest extent practicable, delegate or assign authority to the Director of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency to manage, coordinate, and direct all resources by orders issued at the time of a disaster. Effective immediately.
