Legislative Summary

Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill but with the following change: Further amends the Illinois Insurance Code. In the provision prohibiting an individual or group policy of accident and health insurance that provides coverage for naloxone hydrochloride from imposing a copayment on the coverage provided, provides that the prohibition does not apply to coverage of naloxone hydrochloride to the extent such coverage would disqualify a high-deductible health plan from eligibility for a health savings account under a specified provision of the Internal Revenue Code.
