HB3435: HEALTH CARE VIOLENCE PREVENT

Legislative Summary

Amends the Uniform Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioners Act. Provides that, if a state licensed health or mental health professional with a valid license from another state or territory is operating under the auspices of the American Red Cross, the professional may practice in the State to the extent authorized by the Act as if the practitioner were licensed in the State, regardless of whether an emergency declaration is in effect.
