SB325: Student Data Privacy - Protections, Digital Tools, and Student Data Privacy Council

Legislative Summary

Altering the definitions of "covered information", "operator", "persistent unique identifier", and "targeted advertising" to provide increased protections for certain student data; establishing the Student Data Privacy Council; and requiring the Council to report to the Governor and the General Assembly by December 1, 2025, on best practices for student data privacy protection for parents and guardians of students in the State.
