Legislative Summary
Requiring residential service agencies receiving Medicaid reimbursement for the provision of home care or similar services by personal care aides to report by October 1 each year to the Maryland Department of Health the number of aides classified by the residential service agency as employees and independent contractors; requiring the Department to use the information reported to create a certain report by July 1 each year and submit the report to certain committees of the General Assembly; etc.
