Legislative Summary

Providing that a unit of State government may not purchase, lease, contract for, or rent an information technology service or product unless consistent with the master plan, as determined by the Secretary of Information Technology; providing that the Secretary is responsible for overseeing the implementation of major information technology projects in the State; establishing the Maryland Office of Digital Experience in the Department to provide oversight, leadership, and strategic modernization for major technology projects; etc.
