An Act To Amend Sections 97-17-1 And 97-17-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That First And Second Degree Arson Only Include Burning The Property Of Another Person; To Amend Section 97-17-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Elements Of Third Degree Arson To Include The Burning Of A Building Or Structure By The Owner Or An Agent Of The Owner; To Bring Forward Section 97-17-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provides For Arson Of A Church Or Religious Building, For Purposes Of Amendment; To Amend Section 97-17-4, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provides For Forfeiture Of Property Used In Commission Of Arson; And For Related Purposes.
