An Act To Amend Chapter 940, Local And Private Laws Of 2017, As Amended By Chapter 935, Local And Private Laws Of 2021, To Extend Until July 1, 2029, The Repeal Date On The Law That Authorizes The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Booneville, Mississippi, To Levy An Additional Sales Tax Of Not More Than 2% Upon The Gross Proceeds Of Sales Of Hotels And Motels Derived From Room Rentals And Upon The Gross Proceeds Of Sales Of Restaurants For The Purpose Of Providing Funds To Promote Tourism, Parks And Recreation In The City; And For Related Purposes.
