Legislative Summary
Aligns implementation date of academic content standards for Holocaust and genocide studies with implementation date of academic content standards for ethnic studies. Aligns implementation date of academic content standards for Holocaust and genocide studies with implementation date of academic content standards for ethnic studies. Directs Department of Education to provide professional development to ensure that school districts are able to offer instruction that meets academic content standards related to Holocaust, genocide and ethnic studies. Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2023.
