HB2682: Relating to services for young children with special needs.

Legislative Summary

The Act tells ODE to create an advisory committee to study services for young children with special needs. (Flesch Readability Score: 61.6). Directs the Department of Education to establish an advisory committee to study and develop recommendations to modernize the adequate service levels for early intervention and early childhood special education in this state. Directs the advisory committee to submit a report to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to education no later than September 15, 2026. Sunsets on January 2, 2027.
