SB167: Relating to the Uniform Commercial Code.

Legislative Summary

Makes changes to the law that governs commerce among merchants so that the law can now take account of new ways of making payments and doing business. (Flesch Readability Score: 63.4). Amends portions of the Uniform Commercial Code to enable the code to govern the use of certain types of digital assets, electronic money, chattel paper, hybrid transactions, including bundles of goods and services, documents of title and payment systems. Makes miscellaneous other amendments to the code and related statutes.
