Creates a panel of eight people to look into false campaign comments. Creates penalties for someone who makes false campaign comments. (Flesch Readability Score: 67.2). Creates the Oregon Campaign Review Commission to investigate complaints of false statements made by candidates or political committees. Establishes sanctions for violations of false statement law. Applies to campaigns conducted for elections held on or after January 1, 2026.
