Legislative Summary

Adds to the standards that must be met for EFSC to take an exception to a planning goal for a proposed energy facility. (Flesch Readability Score: 62.1). Adds a criterion to the standards that the Energy Facility Siting Council must find for the council to take an exception to an applicable statewide planning goal for a proposed energy facility. Applies to exceptions taken on or after the effective date of this Act. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
