Legislative Summary
The Act requires boards of schools and higher education to video record their meetings. The Act permits audio recording and posting in certain cases. The Act applies to meetings on or after 1/1/2025. Permits a board to post audio recordings of board governing meetings if the educational institution lacks broadband Internet access. Applies to board meetings occurring on or after January 1, 2025. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
