Legislative Summary

The Act would require a study of whether constructing bridges across the Columbia River west of the I-5 bridges would be feasible and useful. The Act would require a report of the study to be turned in next year to the JCT. (Flesch Readability Score: 68.9). Requires the Department of Transportation to study the feasibility and utility of constructing bridges across the Columbia River west of the Interstate 5 bridges. Directs the department to submit a report to the Joint Committee on Transportation no later than September 15, 2026. Sunsets on January 2, 2027. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
