Legislative Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Adding Section 27-40-460 So As To Allow A Tenant Who Is The Victim Of A Crime To Request A New Lock And To Provide A Procedure If The Perpetrator Of The Crime Is A Tenant, To Allow A Victim Of Domestic Violence To Terminate A Rental Agreement Under Certain Circumstances, And To Prohibit A Landlord From Undertaking Certain Actions.
