Legislative Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Amending Section 44-63-140, Relating To Birth Certificates For Adopted Individuals, So As To Allow An Adopted Individual Who Is Seventy Years Of Age Or Older To Obtain Copies Of Records Pertaining To The Individual's Adoption, Including The Original Birth Certificate.
