Legislative Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Amending Section 56-19-480, Relating To The Transfer, Surrender, And Issuance Of Certain Certificates Of Title, License Plates, Registration Cards, And Manufacturers' Serial Plates Of Vehicles Sold As Salvaged, Abandoned, Scrapped, Or Destroyed, So As To Provide In Addition To Other Requirements, The Owners Of Rebuilt, Salvage, Salvage Flood, Or Salvage Fire Vehicles May Not Be Issued Certificates Of Title Unless The Vehicles Are Equipped With Certain Safety Features.
