HB0140: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 33; Title 34, Chapter 3 and Title 71, relative to conservatorship proceedings involving persons in state custody.
Legislative Summary
As enacted, specifies, for purposes of the appointment of a conservator, the county of residence of a person incarcerated in a department of correction facility as the county in which the facility is located and the county of residence of a person involuntarily hospitalized in an institution of the department of mental health and substance abuse services as the county in which the institution is located. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 34, Chapter 3 and Title 71.
