HB1955: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 25 and Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 28, relative to property taxes.
Legislative Summary
As enacted, authorizes a municipality to waive, compromise, remit, prorate, apportion, or release property taxes, penalty, interest, or court costs when the municipality purchases land at a delinquent tax sale for municipal taxes. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 25 and Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 28.
