HB2892: AN ACT to amend Chapter 232 of the Private Acts of 1953; as amended by Chapter 157 of the Private Acts of 1957; and any other acts amendatory thereto, relative to compensation for Montgomery County General Sessions Court Judges.
Legislative Summary
Subject to local approval, authorizes the county legislative body to set salaries for general sessions judges to be compensated at an amount equal to the salaries set for chancery and circuit court judges; the legislative body is authorized to set such salaries by private act in accordance with state law. - Amends Chapter 232 of the Private Acts of 1953; as amended.
