HB1592: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, relative to reporting the loss of a firearm.
Legislative Summary
As introduced, requires the owner of a firearm to report loss or theft of the firearm to law enforcement within 24 hours of discovery of the loss or theft; a violation is punishable only by a civil penalty of up to $500. - Amends TCA Title 39.
