HB1602: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 37, relative to the interrogation of juveniles.
Legislative Summary
As enacted, requires a video or audio recording to be made of any interrogation of a child who has been taken into custody on suspicion that the child committed a delinquent act or unruly conduct unless a technical issue with the equipment or exigent circumstances prevent the recording. - Amends TCA Title 37.
