HB2980: AN ACT to amend Chapter 333 of the Private Acts of 1953; as rewritten by Chapter 54 of the Private Acts of 1991; and any other acts amendatory thereto, relative to the City of Cottage Grove.

Subject to local approval, deletes the position of town marshal; requires candidates for the board of mayor and aldermen to be permanent residents of the city; changes reasons to declare a vacancy on the board of mayor and aldermen. - Amends Chapter 333 of the Private Acts of 1953; as rewritten.
