HB0078: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39 and Title 40, relative to violations of condition of release.

Legislative Summary

As enacted, specifies that venue for prosecution of the offense of knowingly violating a condition of release is generally the county in which the conduct constituting the violation of a condition of release occurred; clarifies that if one or more elements of the offense are committed in different counties, then the offense may be prosecuted in either county. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.
