Legislative Summary

As introduced, enacts the "Teen Social Media and Internet Safety Act," which requires the department of education to develop curricula for the instruction of social media and internet safety for students in grades 6-12 who are enrolled in a school in a local education agency (LEA) or public charter school; requires such LEAs and public charter schools to instruct such students using the curricula developed by the department. - Amends TCA Title 49.
