SB0953: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 8, Chapter 34; Title 8, Chapter 35 and Title 8, Chapter 36, relative to retirement.

Legislative Summary

As introduced, expands the time in which education associations whose employees participate in the retirement system must submit a list of retired members of the retirement system who are assigned to perform functions or duties for the association as an employee of a subsidiary of the association or an independent contractor to the board of trustees by allowing them to submit the list annually or at such other intervals set by the board. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 34; Title 8, Chapter 35 and Title 8, Chapter 36.
