SB1397: Firearms, stun weapons, etc.; possession or transportation by persons adjudicated delinquent.

Legislative Summary

Possession or transportation of firearms, firearms ammunition, stun weapons, explosives or concealed weapons by persons adjudicated delinquent; penalty. Provides that the prohibition on the possession and transportation of firearms and ammunition by convicted felons applies to persons previously adjudicated delinquent. The bill requires that persons who were previously adjudicated delinquent of a violent felony are subject to a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of five years and two years for any other felony within the prior 10 years.
