HB2889: Increase the retirement benefit multiplier from 2.5% to 3% for Deputy Sherriff’s retirement
Legislative Summary
The purpose of this bill is to increase the retirement benefit multiplier of the Deputy Sheriff Retirement System Act from two and one-half percent to three percent of the member's final average salary multiplied by the member's years of credited service.
