HB5510: Clarify law regarding the crime of witness tampering

Legislative Summary

The purpose of this bill is to provide penalties for crimes against public justice, criminal offenses and penalties for intimidation, retaliation against public officers and employees, jurors, and witnesses; fraudulent official proceedings and legal processes against public officials and employees; or making public threats directed at inciting lawless action that could cause bodily harm and is likely to incite or produce such action.
