SB719: Relating to age at which minor can consent to certain medical decisions and services

Legislative Summary

The purpose of this bill is to change the age a minor can consent to general health care decisions and services with parental notice; as well as sexually transmitted disease, alcohol addiction, and controlled substance use addiction care and treatment with parental notice. The bill also removes the definition of mature minor and changes that a minor cannot consent to a do-not-resuscitate order by himself or herself.
